For most of us, the reason we work so hard is simple: family.
We want to give our children a good start, ensure our parents are comfortable, and build a secure life with our partner. That quiet sense of responsibility is what drives us — from getting our first HDB, to planning education costs, to preparing for retirement.

I understand this deeply because before I’m an advisor, I’m a husband. My own family’s hopes and plans are the most important work I do. Over eight years in this field, I’ve realised that my clients and I are on the same journey — trying to do the best for the people we love.

But I also saw a gap. Too often, financial conversations are about products and policies, when what really matters are our hopes and dreams. Our lives aren’t spreadsheets, and our futures shouldn’t be treated like transactions.
